Craig Ferguson (born May 17, 1962) is a Scottish television host based in America, stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. He is the present host of CBS's The Late Late Show, a role which earned him an Emmy nomination in 2006.
Ferguson played the office boss Nigel Wick on The Drew Carey Show from 1996 to 2003 and is the author of the 2006 novel Between the Bridge and the River.
Ferguson was born in Glasgow, Scotland. His experience in entertainment began as a drummer in a punk band called "The Bastards from Hell." The band, later known as "Dreamboys," performed regularly in Glasgow from 1980 to 1982.
