Tracy Rowlett is an American journalist, currently a co-anchor and managing editor on CBS's Dallas affiliate, KTVT.

After originally announcing in early February 2007 that he will retire from CBS 11 when his contract expries in July of 2008, Rowlett agreed to a contract extension with CBS 11. The agreement will postpone Rowlett's planned retirement by at least two years -- until July 2010. Rowlett will continue to do the 5 p.m. newscasts until that time, but will no longer be doing the 6 or 10 p.m. broadcast as he begins to cut back his duties. On July 10, 2008 it was announced that Tracy will be leaving CBS 11 on July 11, 2008 at 5PM. He will be going to www.Shale.TV. His last braoadcast will be July 11, 2008's CBS 11 News@ 5PM.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Wichita State University in broadcasting and journalism, and received his master's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
