Meet Dave (formerly Starship Dave) is a comedy film co-written by Bill Corbett (formerly of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame) and Rob Greenberg. The film was released by 20th Century Fox on July 11, 2008.

The film was rated PG for bawdy and suggestive humor, action and some language by the MPAA on June 10, 2008.

In busy New Yorks' Central Park a massive fireball crash lands, with a man emerging unscathed. He's Dave (Eddie Murphy), a human-shaped spaceship controlled by 100 little aliens. Its captain (also played by Murphy) pilots the Dave Spaceship along with his crew from inside its head. The aliens are seeking a way to save their planet from a water shortage, however complications arise when Dave Spaceship falls in love with single mom Gina Morrison (Elizabeth Banks).
