Manny Rodriguez is a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter and the current King of the Cage (KOTC) Heavyweight Champion.

Born on March 10, 1980, Rodriguez grew up in Southern California to parents of Mexican decent. A good athlete in high school, Rodriguez began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after watching a video of the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Soon thereafter, Rodriguez fell in love with MMA and decided to train full time. At the age of 24, Rodriguez was diagnosed with a rare form of testicular cancer. After surgery and a long recovery process, Rodriguez returned to MMA with a newfound attitude.

Fighting out of Carlsbad, California, Rodriguez is a member of North County Fight Club where he trains with teammates Jason Lambert, Eddie Sanchez, Matt Stansell, Jeff W. Clark and other top level MMA fighters. Rodriguez goes by the nickname "Mean Bean".
