Laurie David (born March 22, 1958) is an American environmental activist. She serves as a trustee on the Natural Resources Defense Council and a member of the Advisory Board of the Children's Nature Institute and is a contributing blogger to the The Huffington Post.

Born as Laurie Ellen Lennard, David was married to Larry David (co-creator of Seinfeld and creator of Curb Your Enthusiasm) for 14 years. They entered into divorce proceedings due to irreconcilable differences on July 13, 2007. The couple announced their intention to amicably separate on June 5, 2007. Laurie David filed for divorce on July 19, 2007 citing irreconcilable differences and seeking joint custody of their two daughters.

Laurie David is best known for her efforts to stop global warming. She founded the Stop Global Warming Virtual March with Senator John McCain and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Ms. magazine quoted David about the grassroots aspect of her campaign: "If everyone does one thing, they are likely to do two things, then three things. Then they are likely to influence friends and family, and that's how you build a movement."
