About Lance Krall

Lance Krall (born December 9, 1970 in Monterey, California) is a half Vietnamese-American comedian and actor, television writer, director, and producer. He became well known after his portrayal as "Kip" in the role in faux-reality show The Joe Schmo Show.

With his father, John Krall, being a Naval aviator, and his mother, Yung Krall, working as a spy for the CIA, Lance spent most of his life moving from country to country, state to state. One time after school, Lance decided to go to a friend's house before going home. Two hours later he returned home to learn that the FBI had been searching for him and shut down 3 airports in belief that he had been abducted. After retirement, the family finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia.

After getting his BA in Film and Theater at Georgia State University, Krall helped found The Whole World Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. From 1993-2000, Krall performed in improv shows and scripted plays at Whole World.
