Joan Holloway is a fictional character on AMC's television series Mad Men. She is portrayed by Christina Hendricks. On the show, Joan is seen as the office manager of the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency. She had an ongoing affair with the married Roger Sterling, but broke that off after Sterling suffered a heart attack. She also had an intimate relationship with Sterling Cooper copywriter Paul Kinsey. Her roommate Carol, whom Joan knows from college, has expressed an interest in Joan too, although Joan ignored her romantic overtures. Joan is engaged to be married.

According to a copy of her driver's license that was posted on the bulletin board in Peggy Olson's office, Joan's birth date is February 24, 1931. She stands 5'8" tall and has red hair and green eyes. She also weighed 140 lbs. when she got her driver's license, which expires on September 30, 1963.
