Helen Louise Golay (née Salisbury b.February 1931) is an American senior citizen convicted along with her associate Olga Rutterschmidt, for the murder of two homeless men - Kenneth McDavid, 50, in 2005 and Paul Vados, 73 in 1999.
Her crimes were committed in Los Angeles County, California where Golay resides since 1950s - to collect insurance settlements,
The two women collected $2.8 million in insurance after staged hit and run incidents. Golay was arrested by LAPD on May 18, 2006 in her home in Santa Monica, California. After a murder trial, she was convicted and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on April 16, 2008 in Los Angeles, California.
