Anne Archer (born August 24, 1947) is an Academy Award-nominated American actress.
Archer was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of actors Marjorie Lord (née Wollenberg) and John Archer. Archer married William Davis in 1968, but they later divorced. In 1979, she married Terry Jastrow. Archer has two sons, one from each marriage. In 1991, Archer made the story of her past abortion public. She has been an activist supporter of Planned Parenthood.
Archer is a longtime member of the Church of Scientology and a supporter of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights. Her son Tom Davis is a spokesman for the church. In 1998 Anne Archer and fellow entertainers Isaac Hayes, Chick Corea and Haywood Nelson attended the 30th anniversary of Freedom Magazine, the Church of Scientology's investigative news journal, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
